Our client is the leading supplier of water management and drainage systems for the Building, Construction and Utilities markets. Their focus on responsible growth includes key developments within the environmental / water management sectors.
They currently have an exciting opportunity for an Area Sales Manager to take responsibility for one of their South East Territories. This is a key appointment and will cover areas in Cambridgeshire, Essex, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Northamptonshire.
The post holder will be expected to maximise sales volumes and margins for the company’s products through the implementation of agreed strategies. You will have functional responsibility for your territory and customer base – this will include the number of stockists, sales volumes and margins within the customer base. The negotiation, maintenance and management of business within agreed parameters and KPI’s will also be a requirement of the role, along with the development of detailed information on the marketplace.
The successful candidate will have proven experience of territory sales management and the desire to exceed performance targets. Knowledge of plumbing or drainage along with experience of major merchants may be an advantage. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who is able to communicate effectively whilst building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
