MIDLANDS/ WALES / SOUTH WEST AREA SALES MANAGER

 Area Sales manager / Field Sales Executive  / Account Manager required  for a company who manufacture and supply door motors , roller shutter motors , shutter drives and controls for a variety of domestic and industrial door drive applications.

Salary  circa £ 25k - 30k basic , dependent on experience + bonus scheme, + car , laptop + other benefits. The company are a friendly and professional company with most staff having achieved long service.

Product; Door motors , roller shuttermotors , shutter drives and controls

Brief Job Description;

Area Sales Manager    required for a company who are a leading manufacturer and supplier of  Door Motors , Roller Shutter Motors and Shutter Drives and controls . The product range includes many different types of Motors and drives including Tubular motors , Flange and foot mounted drives , rapid roll drives , sliding folding rollers , safety brakes and many others.

PURPOSE OF JOB;

Your role will be to sell to a base of existing accounts and contacts , and also develop New Business. The split of Account Management to New Business is roughly 50 / 50.

*Plan and carry out  sales activities , so as to maintain and develop sales of Door Motors, Roller Shutter Motors , Drives etc  in accordance with agreed business plans.

*To develop customer sales through the development of all Midlands / Wales and South West territories. This Area covers approx a quarter of the country and thus will require days /nights away from home , due to size of the Area.

EXPERIENCE / SKILLS REQUIRED;

-Successful B2B track record in Field Sales

- Experience in the Industrial Door market preferred or experience in allied engineering products such as Bearings , engineering supplies , power transmission etc., where synergy with above range of products can be easily identified and adapted.

- Technical Field Sales skills and a hands on approach .

-Strong Questioning and closing skills.

-Confident

-Good relationship builder

-First class communication skills.

-Organised , disciplined and self motivated.

 -Commercially aware.

-IT literate

- A good team player
