Up to £28k (£33k OTE year 2) plus guarantee, Company Car, Pension Scheme, Private Healthcare, 3G Mobile Phone, Laptop Computer.
My client is a growing subsidiary of its German parent company in the manufacture of measuring systems, stroke bearings and metering systems for Automotive, Aerospace, Electrical and Defense process applications. With the opportunity to take control of a potentially lucrative area and join a growing company offering the freedom to carry out your role effectively.
The company is looking for an area sales engineer to cover the North -- Cheshire, Lancashire, Derbyshire, Yorkshire, Scotland and NI. Based ideally around Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds or Bradford in an external role, the position will be largely focused on creating new business, with a smaller percentage of focus on managing existing accounts.
To make this role your own you will have a proven track record in sales and have experience selling in similar routes to markets. Candidates with a background selling test equipment would be at an advantage, but measurement knowledge is not essential as the company will give the chosen candidate extensive product training. You will come from an engineering background and be able to demonstrate a stable, enthusiastic, keen and honest personality.
