Our client is a UK based organisation which specialises in employment programmes. They have 25 offices throughout the UK. They are currently recruiting for their Edinburgh office due to its increasing in size following the award of new contracts. This is an exciting, growing business and they are looking for candidates who are hard-working and solution-focused to join their busy team.
They are looking for an administrator to work mainly within finance and you will provide support for 10 teams plus their Managers. Good working knowledge of financial procedures are essential as this will be 50% of the role. Listed below are the duties:-
ˇProducing various monthly/ad hoc statistics using Excel: Resman and Ropus
ˇCollate and producing Management Information Reports
ˇMonitor all finance requests
ˇProcessing all financial transactions and expenditures
ˇEnsuring relevant forms support expenditure ie Receipts; VAT invoices
ˇIssue and record all transactions
ˇProcess BACS
ˇManagement of company credit card along with its processing for payment
ˇManage and settle accounts and invoices from various businesses and suppliers
The financial administration is the main part of the role but you will also be involved in archiving; event support and general administration.
Other essential competencies include good time management; analytical and problem solving skills along with negotiation and liaison skills and the ability to work in a target environment.
