£24,000 Basic Salary + Car + Benefits + Excellent Prospects
One of the most established and well known of UK food brands is looking to recruit an Account Manager to manage Independent retail chains and major food retailers in the North London and Home Counties region.
This is an ideal role for an individual with experience of selling into retailers looking to work for a major brand.The company will also consider applications from confident merchandisers looking for their first break into Account Management or applicants currently selling into independents looking to gain experience and contacts with the major multiples.
The company have been established for over 150 years and are a major force in their industry sector.As an Investor in People that enjoys extremely low levels of staff turnover you will be assigned a senior member of the sales team as a ‘mentor'.It is therefore anticipated that the role will grow into National Account Management or Regional Sales Management within 2 years.
The company are looking for a confident account manager that has experienced in forging strong business relationships at senior levels and is used to introducing new products and incentive schemes to maximise sales.You will have a consultative, relationship oriented and non aggressive approach to business and be a gregarious and ambitious team player.The ideal candidate will have received some sales training and will be able to demonstrate a logical career path at interview.In addition you will be well presented with excellent verbal and written communications skills.
