Account Director - Vertical Market Specialist

If you are a passionate business leader and new business hunter who as operated at a senior level within major corporate accounts, we want to hear from you. Focusing on specific vertical markets the ideal experience will have been gained within Financial Services, Manufacturing, Professional Services and the Petrochemical arenas.

Summary & Job Purpose:
To realise significant business opportunities through writing and implementing business plans for Corporate Commercial Accounts with whom there is currently little or no business relationship.

Responsibilities and Tasks:
• Develop, maintain and implement “break in” account plans for specified non user accounts to include Political mapping, Multi-level engagement & milestones.
• Manage the internal resources needed to enable successful new business win strategies within specified non user accounts
• Develop & Maintain a thorough sector understanding to enable successful new business win strategies within specified non user accounts
• Review progress with the Head of C&I Commercial regularly
• Engage non user accounts at a senior (board) level
• Achieve agreed milestones within specified non user accounts
• Work with Company Alliances and Partner companies to devise break –in strategies
Prioritise non user accounts to deliver short, mid and long term business opportunities
• Have a clear understanding of the specific needs of individual accounts
• Ensure records are maintained (including a calendar)of non user account buying processes, policies & buying cycles
• Project manage and lead bids & tender processes within specified non user accounts.
• Forecast revenue, GM, solutions and units by quarter for the forthcoming 18 months.
