My client specialises in the identification and resolution of billing imbalances for all the major
UK energy utility companies. Having recovered over £200m of previously unidentified cash since
the company was founded in 1998 the client has made a material difference to the fortunes of its’
clients.
An accomplished Account Director is required to secure further business from existing clients;
developing relationships by building on established and solid foundations. The ideal candidate
will demonstrate the following profile:
· Track record in personally selling business process solutions into UK utility
companies is preferred however, candidates with considerable experience of selling
into Government and/or major blue chip clients may be considered. Proven success in
selling concept based solutions / BPO is more important than one off contract size i.e.
the ability to personally run multiple sales campaigns simultaneously rather than
1 x £50m bid per annum!
· Personal stature and credibility to engage on a peer to peer basis with energy industry
leaders on both a social and professional basis.
· Demonstrable ability to define, implement and execute an account development
strategy. With a deep understanding and practical experience of sophisticated large
account development methodologies e.g. Holden Powerbase / Blue sheet etc.
· Seasoned negotiator capable of prioritising issues within the context of an overall
account development strategy. A completer/finisher.
· Demonstrable track record of value based relationship and business development
successes over time.
· Experience of leading and mentoring virtual teams to deliver outstanding results
within a commercial framework.
· Experience and maturity combined with energy, passion and enthusiasm for
commercial success.
· Numerate, articulate and trustworthy.
· Strong commercial acumen with a “deal maker” resolve.
