Working within the Web Spiders UK salesforce, the sales account manager would be responsible for new business generation and account management within a specific vertical sector(s) targeting medium to enterprise level organisations.  Potential opportunity to travel and global experience through coordination with APAC region team.

The candidate would be degree educated with a proven successful track record of generating business ideally in any of the following industries, Finance, Retail, and Learning – preferably through software solutions sales.  A self starter with ability to work on own initiative to identify, generate and qualify leads in the assigned industry, developing a prospect through to closure. 

The main responsibilities of the job include: 

·         Generate revenue in line with the compensation plan and targets set 

·         Understand and analyse customer needs then suggesting (or tailoring) a defined package

·         Prepare and deliver pricing proposals

·         Prospecting and identification of sales opportunities through cold calling and marketing activities 

·         Communication of Web Spiders updates to existing customers and prospects 

·         Communicating technical solutions to clients of differing technical knowledge

·         Accurate forecast management, providing and maintaining a qualified and up to date funnel, reporting to management on a weekly basis

·         Providing substantial input into future central marketing and campaigns to assist themselves selling within the designated sector

Based out of the Birmingham office, a full driving license and transportation would also be will be required for this role to facilitate meeting prospects across the UK.

Salary:              £ 25-28k per year (dependent on experience) + commission + car parking  + company phone + 20 days holiday
