National Trade Sales Manager
Field based, with access to Derby and travel throughout the UK
£30,000 – £40,000 (depending on skills) plus company car
Our client is a leading provider of security and transactional print services. They provide innovative and creative solutions for a wide range of print and promotional products.
After 25 successful years in this position, their recent Trade Sales Manager has now retired leaving an opportunity for a hardworking and dedicated individual to take their product range forward.
The post holder will help them to maintain their position as the UK market leader in calendars, diaries and business gifts for the business-to-business sector. Attending and arranging trade shows, you will be responsible for 2.9m of revenue and will build relationships with a number of non-tied agents.
Working closely with trade agents, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities whilst setting and managing targets, bonuses and incentives. You will also be expected to handle agent enquiries, providing quotations and pricing where required.
The successful applicant will have a background dealing with agents and will have extensive business-to-business experience. Ideally from an industry background, you will have the ability to introduce new methods of working and will be able to think strategically as well as operationally. An influential individual, you will be confident working independently and will have exceptional communication skills and the desire to really make this role your own.
A full UK driving licence is essential.
